QUESTIONS
The four we always get.
Do I need a credit card?
Yes, in the driver's name. It holds the deposit, released when the car comes back. Debit and prepaid cards cannot hold it.
How much fuel should be in it?
Whatever it had when you left. Anything missing is charged at pump price plus €15 for the trip to fill it.
How old do I have to be?
Twenty-one, with a licence held for a year. Up to twenty-five adds €8 a day, already inside the quote.
Can I take it on a ferry?
Yes, if you tell us first. It costs nothing, and without the heads-up the crossing is uninsured.
